I have never been to Alaska but always had it in my head to do so, I found this book a nice introduction to my long awaited trip. We shall be starting our trip from Illinois so much of the journey will be the same. Knowing nothing about our first trip to Alaska, we found this book helped to enlightened us of the unknown. The book was fun, I felt like I was on the trip with them.... even felt the discouragement of landing a fish (ha ha) and the dread of backing a trailer, couldn't help but put a smile on my face as many of us have shared these experiences. The book touched on area's, situations and so much more for the first timers (in my case) to where I knew I needed to do some research and double check my lists and supplies for the small important things that I would have never dreamed of just by reading this book. Again the book had a little of everything and left me wanting more. Thanks for the enjoyable read.Product details

Loved the book, however where there should have been pictures, there were only a black camera with a red triangle over it
Very interesting account of travel to Alaska in a small camper and van. Lots of helpful tips and travelogue. Bravo!
Step by step, this book follows a wonderful journey. Good tips and down to earth advice along with an enjoyable shared ride.
Of all the RVing titles I've read on (and I've read quite a few), this one has been the most enjoyable. It's all about the journey, and it's a fun, funny and entertaining read. Well written and highly recommended.
I loved this book except there was one big problem. It is obviously full of pictures, great, would love to see them. Not one of them will load. I cannot see any. I hate to give 3 stars but that one issue is super disappointing. I enjoyed it other than that isss.ue...
